Join the UCLA Biodesign Program leadership, Desert Horse Grant, Jennifer McCaney, PhD and Nirav Kamdar, MD, MPH alongside UCLA Biodesign Advisory Committee members, Johnese Spisso, President of UCLA Health and CEO of UCLA Hospitals and Clinics, Antonio Bernardo, PhD, Dean of UCLA Anderson School of Management, Kelsey Martin, MD, PhD, Dean of the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and Stephen Smale, PhD, Distinguished Professor & Vice Dean for Research of the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, in celebrating the graduation of the 2021 class of UCLA Biodesign Fellows. The live session will showcase pitches from the UCLA Biodesign teams highlighting their innovation efforts over the past year to develop medical technologies that address meaningful clinical needs. The teams will be presenting their final innovation opportunity pitches across a range of therapeutic areas, including pulmonary critical care, oncology, neurology and health IT. A keynote discussion will feature Sharrolyn Transfeldt Josse, MBA, Worldwide President of VELYS Digital Surgery at DePuy Synthes.
