Fellowship
The UCLA Biodesign Fellowship is an exciting year-long entrepreneurial opportunity at a world-class health organization. UCLA Biodesign utilizes an interdisciplinary approach to assemble a team of fellows that tackle some of today’s most challenging clinical needs. Development opportunities are aimed at transformative technologies – from advanced devices to sophisticated digital therapeutics.
UCLA Biodesign invites engineering, medicine, design, and computer science professionals to join us in our mission to transform healthcare. Fellows have the opportunity to leverage clinical and health IT resources at UCLA Health through clinical immersion across disciplines. Working in an interdisciplinary team, fellows leverage combined expertise in engineering, design, medicine, and business to develop solution that will transform patient care.
Fellows receive curated instruction during a two week bootcamp and mentorship throughout the program from industry professionals with domain expertise across the healthcare ecosystem.
A dedicated UCLA Biodesign Innovation Fellowship track is available to current UCLA Health residents and fellows, and a Business Creation Program Capstone is offered to executive and fully-employed MBAs at the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
