Accelerator Fellowship
UCLA Biodesign Accelerator
The UCLA Biodesign Accelerator fosters a robust culture of innovation for healthcare technology development. UCLA faculty and staff developing medical device, diagnostic, and digital products have the opportunity to address key areas of development.
Fellows participate in a bi-weekly programming that consists of directed workshops and ecosystem events featuring key opinion leaders and experienced entrepreneurs. Further collaboration opportunities are offered in partnership with the UCLA Anderson Price Center for Entrepreneurship through a paired team of MBA candidates.
Accelerator Fellows receive curated instruction during an intensive bootcamp and mentorship throughout the program from industry professionals and investors with domain expertise across the healthcare ecosystem.
Accelerator Track
UCLA Biodesign Accelerator Fellows begin their journey validating the clinical need for a working concept or prototype. Over the course of the year, customer discovery and market validation inform iterative technical and product development milestones culminating in a final pitch and demo day.
