Tuan Tran is a healthcare leader, innovator and entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in roles spanning clinical care, research and administration at academic medical centers. In his past role as Procurement Technician at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, he assisted surgeons in ORs to recover hearts, lungs, livers, kidneys and pancreases that were implanted into recipient patients. He also helped conduct clinical trials for medical technologies that were shown to improve heart transplant outcomes. Tuan’s basic and translational research focused on molecular pathways involved in stem cell differentiation, muscular dystrophy and cancer biology. In his current role as Senior Manager of Strategic Implementation at City of Hope Orange County, he evaluates and implements greenfield initiatives for an NCI-Designated Cancer Center in collaboration with executive leadership, staff and external partners. Tuan earned his BS in biology and biomedical research from UCLA, and he is currently pursuing his MBA at the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
