Laleh Jalilian is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at UCLA Health. Her clinical practice is focused on the perioperative care of critically ill patients, many of whom require advanced life support. As an anesthesiologist and intensive care unit physician, Laleh has an interest in physiological monitoring and data analytics in order to optimize quality and safety in healthcare hospital processes. Her current research areas include computer vision, telemedicine and tele-ICU, and digital health for remote surveillance. Laleh completed her fellowship in critical care medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and her residency in anesthesiology at the University of Washington. She received her MD from Washington University in St Louis and BS in bioengineering from the University of California Berkeley.
