Tony is the Senior Vice President of Research and Development for Advanced Technology at Edwards Lifesciences, the global leader of patient-focused innovations for structural heart disease and critical care monitoring. With Edwards for four years, Tony leads a team of engineers and leaders focused on new therapy and product development with the goal of changing the practice of medicine.

Tony has a deep passion for innovation and a rich history in developing solutions for new products and emerging therapies in the field of cardiovascular health reflected in 53 patents issued to date.

Over the course of his career, Tony has transitioned from engineering to leadership roles, focused on minimally invasive therapies for cardiovascular disease in both start up and large, matrixed organizations including Scimed Life Systems, Boston Scientific, Devicix, and Metavention.

Tony has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
