ACCELERATOR FELLOW

Jacqueline Kading, MD

Jacqueline Kading is a resident physician in Pediatrics at UCLA Health. She has specific interests in pediatric critical care, fetal and neonatal physiology, and extracorporeal life support. She aims to pursue clinical subspecialty training in critical care, with a research focus on the innovation of pediatric- and neonatal-specific devices for the ICU setting. During her medical training, Jacqueline conducted research in the ECLS Lab at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor to develop the Artificial Placenta, an extracorporeal life support intervention for extremely premature neonates. Jacqueline completed her MD at Washington University School of Medicine where she was elected into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She received her BS in Biomedical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.
