Dr. Li Zhou is a hospitalist who practices at Providence St John’s. He is board certified in internal medicine with a focus on quality improvement, patient safety, and medical wellness. Dr. Zhou received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at Washington University in St Louis. During residency, he co-founded the medical technology company, MDhandoff LLC, which created software to facilitate transfer of medical data between institutions. He was named Chief Resident of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety at the St Louis VA and Washington University in St Louis. He has served as a medical/research consultant for the telehealth company Epharmix. He began his career as a hospitalist at UCLA in 2018 and completed his fellowship in medical education at UCLA in 2021.
