ACCELERATOR FELLOW

Tamara Grisales, MD

Dr. Grisales is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of OBGYN at UCLA and also serves as Program Director of UCLA’s Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship.  She has expertise in  pelvic floor disorders including prolapse, urinary/fecal incontinence, and vulvovaginal disorders and anomalies, offering both nonsurgical and surgical management for these conditions.   Tamara is committed to providing comprehensive urogynecologic care and improving quality of life for women of all ages.   Her research is focused on quality of life in women’s health and includes:  improving pelvic floor outcomes after delivery and surgery,  identifying novel ways to optimize vaginal health, and treating urogynecologic disorders in cancer survivors.  Tamara completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency and female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery fellowship at UCLA Health.  She received her MD from the University of Texas Medical School, MS in Clinical Gerontology and BA in International Studies from Baylor University.
