Berkeley Limketkai is an Associate Clinical Professor and Director of Clinical Research at the Center for Inflammatory Bowel Diseases in the Tamar and Vatche Manoukian Division of Digestive Diseases. His other role involves the integration and advancement of technology initiatives in gastroenterology. Prior to medical school, Berkeley was a developer at an Internet start-up for e-commerce software. During and after his medical training, he has worked in the spaces of device development, investigator-initiated drug development, digital health, and artificial intelligence. Berkeley completed his medical residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Johns Hopkins University before joining the faculty at Stanford University and, subsequently, UCLA. He received his MD from the University of Cincinnati and his PhD from Johns Hopkins University and undergraduate degrees in Biochemistry and French from UC Berkeley.
