UCLA Biodesign’s 2021-22 cohort of Accelerator and Discovery Fellows culminated a year of innovation development where they were paired with mentors and expert advisors across regulatory, reimbursement, prototyping, needs development, solution scoping, market assessment, fundraising, intellectual property, corporate law and more. The Annual Innovation Fast Pitch Showcase celebrating this culmination featured opening remarks from: Johnese Spisso, President of UCLA Health and CEO of UCLA Hospitals and Clinics, Dr. Steve Dubinett, Interim Dean of the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and Antonio Bernardo, Dean of the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a keynote by Dr. Nick West, Chief Medical Officer & Divisional Vice President of Global Medical Affairs, Abbott Vascular.
