Class of 2021 UCLA Biodesign Fellows Graduate

On June 21st, UCLA Biodesign’s Class of 2021 Fellows graduated – this included eight Discovery Track Fellows, nine Accelerator Track Fellows, three MD/MBA Fellows, and its BCO Fellows. Sharrolyn Josse, Worldwide President of VELYS Digital Surgery & Capital at DePuy Synthes (the Orthopaedics Company of Johnson & Johnson), keynoted the event with a Fireside Chat moderated by UCLA School of Management Dean Tony Bernardo. 

David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA Dean Kelsey Martin, Vice Chair for Research Stephen Smale, and UCLA Health President & UCLA Hospital System CEO Johnese Spisso also shared commencement remarks congratulating the Fellows, its supporters and staff, and highlighting the program’s approach to innovation and its impact.
