An Entrepreneur’s Journey – From Concept to Acquisition with Barrett Larson, MD

Register here to join Barrett Larson, MD on Thursday, 10/28/2021, 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM PT

Join Dr. Barrett Larson as he discusses how he went from uncovering an unmet clinical need to prevent pressure ulcers and pressure injuries and developed a solution that he subsequently sold to Smith & Nephew. Barrett will be sharing how corporates think about acquisitions and how he went from an entrepreneurial spark to identifying requirements for an unmet need, qualifying that unmet need to developing a prototype and launching it in the market.

About the Speaker: Barrett

He has spent most of his medical career at Stanford University, first as a medical student, then as a resident, and now as a Clinical Assistant Professor.
